Presentation:
SEDI Fibres Optiques and its sister company ATI Optique (Common holding company of their senior managers) are working as a single team. SEDI Fibres Optiques is in charge of technical sales and marketing. ATI Optique is in charge of R&D and manufacturing. The resulting fiber optic team with more than 25 years experience in this field has become one of the major players for the manufacturing of special fiber optic assemblies particularly for harsh environment applications. The group has three main activities: First SEDI Fibres Optiques offers an extensive line of optical fibers with more than 100 references in inventory. SEDI also supply a number of products associated to the fibers: connectors, cables, jackets, tools, etc. Second the group manufactures custom designed products for specific requirements of specialty fibers application such as high or low temperature, high pressure, vacuum, chemically aggressive environment, medical requirements, radiations, high power lasers, UV, IR, PM fibers, etc. Third the group manufactures passive components used in fiber optic applications (Connectors, couplers, hermetic feedthroughs, WDM, collimators, filters and AR, metallized pigtails, thin film coatings on fibers) |

Specific know-how:
A very special know-how has been developed in some highly technical fields:
-Patchcords for high power LASER
-High performance hermetic feed-through (hermeticity and pressure)
-Thin film coating on fibers (metallization, AR and dichroïc filters)
-Spectroscopy probes
Applications are very diverse including medical, geophysic, space and aeronautic, nuclear, research, telecom, sensors, instrumentation, etc.

Important human and industrial resources are available An ISO 9001 manufacturing workshop perfectly trained with a flexible organization able to manufacture large volume quantities as well as single unit product
Production and test equipments include 2 evaporation chambers for AR, filters and metallization, a clean room for medical assemblies, Solidworks CAO stations, power laser, tunable laser, spectrophotometer, interferometer, multiple polishing machines, micro-positioning units , OTDR and sub-millimeter OTDR, programmable environment chambers, high pressure test equipment up to 1000 bar, helium leak test equipment, high precision micro turning unit, milling machine, test benches for traction resistance, back reflexion, attenuation, microscopes, etc.
A complete infrastructure which allows the development of fiber optic solution for a wide range of applications.
