DESCRIPTION
These hermetic feedthrough are specially designed for explosive environment according to European norm NFEN 60079. This product is compliant for Zone 2, category 2.
Main differences with the standard products is the hermeticity of the inner tube which contains the fiber element and it’s epoxy sealing is not made by gaskets but by brazing the tube in the feedthrough’s body.
The dimensions of the ATEX feedthrough are bigger than the standard version (59.6mm length and 28mm flange diameter).
SMA Version : - Fibers : 200 to 1000ìm core (HCS, Sil/Sil Low OH, Sil/Sil High OH) - Transmission : 200 to 900 nm, 500 to 2000 nm - Insertion Loss max. : < 3dB @ 850 nm - Example of typical Insertion Loss : 2dB (HCS1000 @ 850 nm)
FC Version : - Fibers : Singlemode, GI50/125 & GI62.5/125, LCH50/125 & LCH105/125 - Insertion Loss max. : < 1dB @ 1550 nm - Example of typical Insertion Loss : 0.3 dB (SMF28e @1550 nm)
