DESCRIPTION
These buffers provide an environmental and mechanical protection to the fiber and are generally used for pigtails of components. They can be easily mechanically stripped. Buffers can be in Hytrel, elastomeric or PVC material in tight, easy-strip or tube design

900µm "UL" buffer
This 900µm PVC buffer is according to UL-VW1/1080 which defines vertical flamability test. It can be easily mechanically stripped and leave the 250µm primary buffer intact, or alternatively, the primary and secondary buffer may be removed to the 125µm glass diameter in one step.
