DESCRIPTION The HCS SMA, ST or V-PIN connector system utilizes crimp and cleave fiber optic connectors and large core fiber optic ( 200µm.ou 400µm). This process was developped with two goals: to make fiber optic terminations easier and to eliminate the human error factor during the assembly process. It does not require the use of epoxy and polishing and a termination can be completed in three minutes or less with a minimal training time. The main part of this process is the use of a specific cleave tool : CT2.
