MICRO-FIBRES PHOTONIQUES

DESCRIPTION
Standard single mode fibers have a cladding diameter of 125µm. Micro Photonic Fibers are designed with a cladding of 80µm for miniature components and integrated package where reduced form is desirable. Reduced diameter means improved bend performances.
Aside from reduced bend specification the selection of a fiber is the same as for standard photonic fibers, according to operating wavelength and appropriate coating for desired environment.
