The Power Transfer is constructed like a SMA adaptor. It does permit the connection between a high power patchcord coming from a Laser source, and a disposable high power pigtail or patchcord. This devices with optics integrated keep beam diameter and NA between Input and Output transfer. It can also be used in spectroscopy applications to improve the modal dispersion and coherence of a beam coming from a multifibre bundle, to be connected to another bundle or a single fibre.
